Does Laser Hair Removal Hurt?

Everybody is different, and everyone’s body responds slightly differently to laser hair removal. To minimize discomfort during the procedure, the technician may do a localized test shot to gauge the person’s response and tailor the machine settings for the optimal, most comfortable experience. Additionally, all our machines at Laser Here are equipped with a chiller that applies a consistent gust of cold air to the area being treated to further mitigate potential discomfort during the procedure.

At Laser Here, we use the best and the most advanced machines on the market. Unlike outdated diode lasers, which use a gell as a buffer between the machine and the skin, all of our machines are contactless, gliding over the skin without ever touching it, increasing the person’s comfort during their procedure.

After the treatment, the treated area may feel tender or sore, but this usually subsides within a few hours to a few days. Although everyone’s body responds slightly differently to laser hair removal, laser hair removal is generally considered to be a safe and effective way to reduce unwanted hair growth. In general, any discomfort experienced during the procedure is minimal and short-lived. The vast majority of people are able to tolerate the procedure with little discomfort.
